Wahnsinn! Anfang des Jahres waren THE SORROW noch Newcomer des Monats im Metal Hammer. Ein gutes halbes Jahr später lassen sie im Soundcheck der August-Ausgabe u.a. Bands wir ENTOMBED, GOREFEST, CLAWFINGER und VELVET REVOLVER hinter sich und setzen sich mit ihrem Album "Blessings From A Blackened Sky"an die Pole-Position!
