La Route du Rock 2026: Who Will Share the Bill With Fontaines D.C.

The renowned Breton festival returns for its 34th summer edition, taking place from August 12 to 15, 2026 in Saint-Malo. This new “Summer Collection” promises a remarkable sonic journey spanning the historic fort and the shores of the Emerald Coast.

The Breton gathering of alternative music once again takes up residence in the corsair city for four days of celebration. The programming unfolds across several iconic venues, from the La Nouvelle Vague venue to barefoot beach sessions at Bon-Secours, before settling each night inside the majestic grounds of Fort Saint-Père.

On Thursday, August 13, you can look forward to seeing Darkside, The Divine Comedy, Peaches, Cate Le Bon, Ditz, the Norwegian avant-pop duo Smerz, and also Horsegirl. On Friday, Mogwai, the spoken-word crooner Baxter Dury, post-punk outfit Dry Cleaning fronted by Florence Shaw, Sprints, Moin (the trio that appeared at the Inrocks festival for a memorable show at the Bourse de Commerce—Collection Pinault), and Alice Costelloe. The final day of performances, Saturday August 15, features the headlining Irish band Fontaines D.C. taking over Fort Saint-Père, alongside Kurt Vile & The Violators, Aldous Harding, Friko, Ciel, Elias Rønnenfelt, and Chest.
