The Sónar festival returns on June 18, 19, and 20, 2026, presenting a reinvented edition staged along Barcelona’s Gran Via. With a vertigo-inducing XXL lineup, here’s a look at the five artists and groups you simply cannot miss.
Two Shell
A British duo as enigmatic as it is innovative, Two Shell pushes the boundaries of club music, weaving a sound drawn from grime, UK garage, and rave, with hints of hyperpop. Rooted in a cryptic universe of acid colors and unpredictable textures, their performances—renowned for their contagious energy—promise an experience that is as disorienting as it is unforgettable.
Nia Archives
A key figure of the new jungle generation, Nia Archives completely redefines the genre. The British artist offers a subtle blend of soulful and reggae-inflected sounds, even weaving acoustic pop-folk guitars into the jungle’s characteristic drum breaks. Producer, singer and DJ, she arrives at Sónar 2026 with an unreleased live show that is sure to bring a few surprises.
The Prodigy
A true legend of the British rave scene, The Prodigy has been shaping the history of electronic music since 1990. Pioneers of breakbeat fused with punk and industrial, Liam Howlett and Maxim bridged guitar music and rave. On stage, the formula is simple yet effective, featuring a pyrotechnic-laden live show backed by a stellar lineup of musicians.
Namasenda
Former member of the UK avant-pop label PC Music, Swedish artist Namasenda—now signed to YEAR0001—crafts a bold universe at the crossroads of hyperpop and club music. She will release Limbo in May and will premiere live versions of her new record at Sónar 2026 for the first time.
Cabaret Voltaire
Awarding a place among the pioneers of electro and industrial music, the cult group Cabaret Voltaire will celebrate 50 years of sonic avant-garde, paying tribute to its founder Richard H. Kirk, who passed away in 2021. Formed in Sheffield in 1973, the group opened the way to techno, synth-pop and acid house with a radical edge that remains intact.
