Rock Beach Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Waterfront Indie Rock Lineup

May 19, 2026

In 2026, the Plage de Rock festival marks twenty years of independent music with its feet in the sand at the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. This anniversary edition promises a free, intimate alternative to the Saint-Tropez nightclub scene and the gigantism of major summer festivals.

Set against the idyllic backdrop of the Les Prairies de la Mer open-air hotel in Port Grimaud, the festival offers an open-air stage facing the Mediterranean. To celebrate two decades, Plage de Rock will host four major musical appointments spread throughout July 2026. It’s the perfect chance to enjoy iconic concerts in a relaxed, accessible atmosphere for everyone.

The lineup kicks off on Wednesday, July 8 with the hypnotic post-punk of Dry Cleaning and the shoegaze textures of Green Star, followed on Thursday, July 16 by indie idols Wet Leg. On Thursday, July 23, Sébastien Tellier will take over the shores of the Mediterranean with Crenoka. Finally, to cap off this anniversary edition, Thursday, July 30 will feature performances by Deki Alem and Wesley Joseph, underscoring the festival’s indie DNA.
