Jay-Z Returns to the Stage in July

June 3, 2026

After a standout performance in Philadelphia this Saturday, May 30, the New Yorker is preparing to celebrate his classics in the Bronx over three dates.

On May 30, Jay-Z delivered his first major solo concert in five years at the Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia. In peak form, the rapper performed more than 30 songs in 90 minutes, backed by The Roots’ live band.

In the interview the rapper gave to GQ in March last year, he stressed: “There are four pillars that support hip-hop culture: breakdancing, graffiti, DJing and the clashes.” While Jay-Z criticized these clashes as becoming increasingly personal in his view, he used his Philadelphia show to target Drake, Nicki Minaj and Kanye West, who had made comments about Jay-Z’s children. The rapper defended his offspring by rapping: “You ever heard of wonder-kin? My children are some of them.”

The rapper now invites his audience to three exceptional performances in New York, at Yankee Stadium, on July 10, 11 and 12, 2026. These concerts will pay tribute to the albums Reasonable Doubt, marking its 30th anniversary, and The Blueprint, complemented by a special night titled “Extra Innings.”
