Today, October 23, new albums are released by Michael Kiwanuka, Viva Belgrado, Gus Dapperton, Sarria, Pinpilinpussies, Shabazz Palaces, b1n0, and the Danish breakout artist Fine. Also dropping are intriguing EPs from LISA and girl in red. Among the domestic acts, Poster Boy’s EP stands out.
‘Two Crosses’, Los Planetas’ comeback single, a rendition of a 1950s bolero, is already available, although the playlist opens today with Natalia Lacunza and ‘Flor de Canela’, her new single. There is also new music from Vicco, Hot Chip, Mark William Lewis, The Yearning, Kacey Musgraves, Dominic Fike, Mahalia and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, who announce their first album in six years.
Halloween vibes are creeping in as well, because both Haute & Freddy and Allie X release electropop tracks with a spooky edge.
We also receive cool updates from Sienna, Mina Okabe, Anderson .Paak, Jazzy, Winona Oak, Deteresa, Lambrini Girls, Travis Birds or, on a more electronic note, Farmar. Among the curiosities, the standout include the single from the Texas reissue and Jeanette de Caamaño & Ameixeiras’ version.
