The New Zealand musician Aldous Harding makes her grand return with a fifth album titled “Train On The Island,” scheduled for release on May 8, 2026. The lead single “One Stop” is already available.
Born Hannah Sian Topp, Aldous Harding is a New Zealand singer-songwriter, now based in Cardiff, United Kingdom. The daughter of folk singer Lorina Harding, Aldous began releasing music in 2014 before joining the renowned label 4AD. She has built a solid reputation with acclaimed albums such as Party (2017), Designer (2019), and Warm Chris (2022).
She returns with her fifth album, Train On The Island, born from a collaboration with her longtime producer John Parish (known for his work with PJ Harvey). Recorded at Rockfield Studios in Wales, Harding assembled on this record a lineup of talented musicians such as Sebastian Rochford (from the experimental jazz group Polar Bear) on drums and the Welsh H. Hawkline on bass and guitars.
Train On The Island, available on May 8, 2026. Aldous Harding will perform in France on June 11 in Rouen (Rush Festival), on June 12 in Paris (Salle Pleyel), and on July 2 in Nîmes (Paloma).
