Britney 25 Reissue to Include Unreleased Tracks

October 1, 2026

Britney Spears, the former pop star and performer, has recently sold her catalog to Primary Wave, and signs indicate that momentum around her material is starting to move. While Spears’ classics keep surfacing in commercials and TV series, someone has now chosen to reissue the artist’s third studio album, Britney, to mark its 25th anniversary. The album turns 25 on November 6, and the reissue will be released on that very day.

The record includes tracks such as I’m A Slave 4 U, Overprotected, I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman, and Boys, and it represented a fusion of styles shaped by the Crossroads movie. It stands as a quintessential transitional album, showcasing Britney’s evolution from teen pop toward more urban and electronic soundscapes.

In recent years the album has been reissued on vinyl, but questions remain about the alleged unreleased tracks that could be included in this new edition. We know they exist because they are documented, and many of them have leaked in recent years.

Only the inclusion of unreleased songs would give the reissue a clear purpose. It’s worth remembering that on Oops!… I Did It Again there were no unreleased tracks because none existed: the album was produced quickly and all available material was used.

With The Neptunes, Britney is also said to have recorded two supposed folk-ballad numbers, My Big Secret and Baby Can’t You See, which have never been heard by anyone, while in the more teen-pop portion there was an unreleased interlude Bring Me Home and the leaked tracks Am I a Sinner, When I Say So, and She’ll Never Be Me. According to an ATRL insider, the latter could see the light next week, on October 9.

Rumors suggest the reissue might also include the well-known remixes of Boys and Overprotected that were promoted with their own videos. Recently a streaming package of remixes for I’m A Slave 4 U has been released.
