Feel So Good Around You by LB aka Labat: 15 Years of Sleepless Nights Turned Into Bangers

February 28, 2026

The Strasbourg-based producer confirms that French Touch is inexhaustible on an album recorded across the four corners of the globe.

While 2026 is likely to be his year — the moment he will break into the mainstream and finally step out from behind his DJ booth — the thirty-something LB, also known as Labat, is not a newcomer. Born in Strasbourg, Baptistin Cabalou began mixing at the age of seven, earned his first fee at fifteen, and fully immersed himself in the DJ game by twenty.

Although his style has evolved considerably over the years, moving from house to bangers, from vinyl to USB sticks, from intimate clubs to major festivals, LB, aka Labat, is now a possessed DJ, who strings together dates, afterparties and jet lag with appetite.

With the cream of today’s young producers

A passion that comes through, raw and exhilarating, on Feel So Good around U, his debut album in which the French producer surrounded himself with the cream of today’s young producers — Baugruppe90, Heartstring, Memphis LK, Skin on Skin, Lucas V, and Notinbed — with whom he recorded this energy condensed from all over the world.

French Touch 3.0 on I Never Party in Paris, house-garage in the Crystal Waters vein on Double Happiness, a hyperpop nod to Brat on Fixated, a liquid drum’n’bass on Feel So Good around U, culminating in the reimagined baile funk of Cómete: the fourteen tracks of the album, balancing saturated beats and pitched vocals, sketch a real Luna Park of euphoric hits, without labels, conceived to better set the dancefloor ablaze.

Feel So Good around U (Because). Set for release February 27. Live at La Gaîté Lyrique, Paris, on April 9.
