Fontaines D.C.: No. 2 on Spain’s Albums Chart and Top 75 Singles

October 26, 2026

Fontaines DC achieve the strongest entry of the week in Spain with their new album ‘Dopamine Chamber’, our penultimate Album of the Week. The Irish band’s record climbs to No. 2 in our country, only behind ‘Sordo de un pie’ by the Canarian Lucho RK.

It marks Fontaines DC’s best showing in our country, since ‘Romance’ peaked at No. 9 (this week, by the way, that penultimate album from the group re-enters at No. 97). And not only that, but they manage the feat of placing an orchestral ballad at No. 66 in the singles chart. The track is, of course, ‘Where Is Gone’ with Rosalía.

‘Dopamine Chamber’ has been No. 1 in the United Kingdom (with 70,000 copies sold in just one week), also No. 1 in Australia, the Netherlands, Ireland, or Switzerland, in addition to No. 2 in Germany, Italy, or Sweden. Its international status is further confirmed with a Top 51 in the challenging Japanese market. In the United States, an entry around the Top 18 is expected according to HDD, which would be confirmed in the coming hours.

The second-strongest entry of the week in Spain has been ‘15 segundos’ by Grecas, which reaches No. 13. We also note the Top 23 of ‘Disonancia’ by Lori Meyers, far from their best form (they have reached the Top 10 several times, even No. 1 with ‘En la espiral’); the Top 24 of ‘Belonia’ by Mafalda Cardenal; and No. 26 of ‘Gara’, the debut of Gara Durán.

More anecdotal is the arrival of ‘Alegría’ by Anni B Sweet at No. 89, which at least manages to enter the Top 100. The final entry mentioned in the Top 100 is NSQK’s ‘Mosca’ at No. 65.
