Two years after the warm reception of his previous album, the musician reveals this Wednesday, February 25, the first single from his second album, expected for June 5. The title track of this forthcoming record is accompanied by a meticulously crafted visual.
Two years after La Grande Gomme, Gabriel Auguste returns with Paradis terrestre on June 5. In this album, released on Woodland Records, the indie label he co-founded, the artist invites us into an electro-folk aesthetic where mountain peaks serve as the backdrop for an introspection set to music. The single is supported by a video with a time-travel vibe, which perfectly accompanies the music, between acoustic elements and more electronic machinery.
A former member of the group Wall of Death, with which he toured American stages alongside The Black Angels or Brian Jonestown Massacre, Gabriel Auguste has slowly drifted toward his solo project.
Paradis terrestre (Woodland Records/Diggers Factory). Release on June 5.
