The first five songs on the Spanish singles chart remain this week exactly as they did last week, with ‘Bby Wow’ by Karol G, Judeline, and Rusowsky still at No. 1. But what about the new entries?
The strongest newcomer is ‘Dame las subs’ by Pereira7, debuting at 19. The singer from A Coruña launches a fairly basic trap track, one that sounds as if it were manufactured five or six years ago. At 59 enters ‘Capcana’ by Blessd and Anuel AA, another atmospheric trap track, while ‘Lola’ by Lucho RK debuts at 77 with a curious urban bolero offering.
But the entry that draws the most attention is Miley Cyrus, now simply Miley. ‘Bass Persuades’ appears at position 97, her worst showing in Europe. The single has reached 31 in the United Kingdom, 44 in Ireland, 38 in Austria, 24 in the Netherlands, 55 in Germany and 19 in Belgium (Flanders).
In the United States, it doesn’t seem likely to take off either: ‘Bass Persuades’ is expected to debut around No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. Miley is also preparing a remix of the track, which will arrive soon and perhaps give the song a little more life.
