Jack White Returns Unexpectedly With Two New Singles

April 5, 2026

The former frontman of the White Stripes is back with the release of two new, previously unreleased tracks on Third Man Records, the first material since “No Name,” his sixth studio album released in 2024.

The former leader of the White Stripes, recently inducted, alongside Meg White by Iggy Pop into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2025, had not released any music since the publication of his sixth studio album, No Name, in 2024, which returned to his garage-punk roots.

The track G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs offers a blues guitar performance imbued with references to Adam and Eve, while Derecho Demonico is the studio version of a song the artist had begun performing onstage during his 2025 tour. Jack White is in the producer’s chair, aided by his regular musicians: Patrick Keeler (drums), Dominic Davis (bass) and Bobby Emmet (keyboard). In fact, Jack White is preparing to make his sixth appearance on Saturday Night Live this Saturday, April 4, as a musical guest… Probably with his two new tracks.

Jack White, G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs / Derecho Demonico, Third Man Records. In concert in France on June 13 and 14, 2026 at the Olympia in Paris, as well as on June 18 at the Les Nuits de Fourvière festival in Lyon.
