The Joséphine Prize has just revealed its list of 40 albums selected for the 2026 edition.
In 2025, on the stage of the Olympia, Oklou had won the Joséphine Prize for her album Choke Enough, while Theodora had received the Jury Prize for 18/20 for her album Bad boy Lovestory released in November 2024. Who will succeed them? The Joséphine Prize heightens the suspense by unveiling an initial list of 40 albums spanning pop, electronic, rap, jazz, or genre-defying works.
On June 16, 2026, the composition of a jury of artists will be announced. They will be tasked with drawing up a shortlist of the 10 final albums.
