One of the surprises of the joint tour featuring Katie Crutchfield, the real name of the author of “Tigers Blood,” and MJ Lenderman, which began last April, was the artist’s pregnancy. Now, Kevin Morby shares the story of how their child arrived: “I came back from my European tour just in time for our precious baby to burst through the door two weeks earlier than expected.”
He explains that he arrived home only eight hours before Katie’s waters broke: “I like to think that the little one was waiting for me,” he commented. Morby also announced that he would not be able to attend the Eaux Claires festival by Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner. His slot has been filled by a certain Bon.
