La Casa Azul Changes Plans in Barcelona, Debuts New Single

October 3, 2026

The La Casa Azul concert in Barcelona has changed its plans. Instead of March 13 at Palau Sant Jordi, the band will finally perform on March 19 at the Sant Jordi Club, due to scheduling conflicts. The Madrid date, March 14, remains as originally planned.

The show will be the official unveiling of ‘Fauna y Flora Subacuática,’ La Casa Azul’s first album in almost eight years. The record will be released in two parts: ‘Fauna Subacuática’ arriving on November 27 and ‘Flora Subacuática’ on February 5.

Already purchased tickets remain valid. Those with floor tickets will receive an updated ticket starting October 24. For those with balcony seats, these will be exchanged for floor tickets and the price difference will be refunded, as the Sant Jordi Club does not have balcony seating.

If the new date doesn’t suit you, you can request a refund until October 23 by emailing Fever. The new tickets are available on Fever for €40 plus fees.

The first preview of ‘Fauna y Flora Subacuática’ is ‘En mi cabeza,’ an exciting collaboration with Dani Dicostas and a potent blend of styles, perhaps the shift Guille Milkyway’s project has been waiting for. It is Song of the Day.

The track starts from Guille Milkyway’s classic melodic formula, but quickly adopts a more mutable, yet always pop, style. It begins on breakbeats, climbs toward eurodance, and, from the bridge, moves toward Sixties pop while keeping the momentum. Along the way, violins and harps appear, whether synthesized or not, in addition to drums and synthesizers.

Dicostas — who recently lamented on social media the loss of his uncle, Peón Kurtz of Def Con Dos — lingers for several verses on the beautiful track, which speaks of an impossible love: “In my head, you were going to be mine, our light was incredible, all for living; it all stays here in my mind, because even if you don’t like it, I have always been this way,” sings the Barcelona-born artist, the Barcelona-born artist, clinging to his usual idealism.

The official note cites influences ranging from europop to Michael Nyman, and explains the lyric as follows: “We always live with the longing for something that could have happened, something that never occurred and that we intensely wished to achieve. Something that only lives in our head, which we imagine and feel as if it were real, but that, in reality, is like daydreaming: a side road that offers us a different landscape of life. And that’s what ‘En mi Cabeza’ is about, closing our eyes and making everything possible in our head.”

The album also introduces Fluidux, a liquid planet from which Guille Milkyway has built his new musical laboratory and from where he sends his songs to Earth to combat anxiety, disillusionment, and despair.
