A user on the JENESAISPOP forum wondered whether the Confessions II era had already ended as new releases slowed, but it seems Madonna still has several aces up her sleeve. This weekend she brought her Club Confessions to WorldPride in Amsterdam and continued spreading the word about Confessions II with Kylie Minogue by her side.
The two appeared together not to unveil an unreleased track, but to present a remix of “Love Sensation,” a development just as noteworthy, since a musical collaboration between them would have seemed almost unthinkable ten or fifteen years ago.
The Afterhours remix of “Love Sensation,” produced by Stuart Price, will offer a new version of the track, apparently more forceful and darker. It will be available to listen to starting this Friday. Additionally, Madonna’s website has put up a CD single in three variants, reminiscent of the formats that accompanied the release of “Bring Your Love.” Kylie celebrated the collaboration, saying that if her 15-year-old self had been told that someday she would appear on a Madonna track, she wouldn’t have believed it.
