Moha La Squale was placed in police custody in Paris on domestic violence charges. The 31-year-old musician was arrested on Wednesday, May 27, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris after attempting to flee by climbing onto the rooftops.
He had already been sentenced to four years in prison, including one year suspended, for domestic violence, sequestration, and death threats against six former partners in 2024. Moha La Squale was arrested this Wednesday, May 27 in Paris. According to information from La Voix du Nord, police intervened at the musician’s home around 4 a.m. Neighbors had called the authorities after hearing “cries, calls for help from a woman, and sounds of blows”. Moha La Squale reportedly initially refused to open the door before escaping via the rooftops, soon caught by the police. He was placed in police custody for domestic violence. The alleged victim was taken care of.
According to Le Figaro, Moha La Squale was establishing a “climate of fear and insecurity” in his building. His neighbors had complained of “regular nocturnal disturbances, insults to residents, persistent requests to the women in the building to come up with him in the elevator”. Still according to the daily, on May 9 he allegedly threw objects out of the window.
