Nosoträsh, the creators behind some of the foundational albums of Spanish indie such as ‘Nadie hablará de…’ (1998), ‘Mi vida en un fin de semana’ (2000), and our beloved ‘Popemas’ (2002), return to the stage for the first time since 2011. The comeback will take place at Fiesta CPOP 30, part of Contempopránea, on August 21 and 22 in Alburquerque, in Badajoz.
The festival makes clear that this is not a routine reunion: it speaks of a “unique mini-concert strictly bound to exceptional circumstances.” It will therefore be a very unusual opportunity to see the Asturian band again, which had been off stage for more than a decade after their one-off reunion at Primavera Sound 2011.
The organizers have also announced the day-by-day lineup. On Friday the 21st, Aurora Roja, Pálida Tez, Apartamentos Acapulco or Meteosat will perform, another of the edition’s celebrated comebacks and one we recently interviewed on the Revelación o timo podcast. That day will also feature Pequeño Mal and Yaveremos, with La Merienda DJ closing the night.
On Saturday the 22nd it will be the turn of Julien Elsie, Miguel Rivera revisiting Maga’s repertoire in acoustic form, Patronato, the announced Nosoträsh reunion concert, La Habitación Roja and Nadie Patín, before the final Fotomatón DJ session.
