Oasis will announce tomorrow, Monday, September 14, its plans for 2027. The announcement is due at 16:00 BST, 17:00 in Spain, after several days of clues on social media and a drone display over Manchester that has revealed the date and time of the announcement.
Barcelona appears among the cities Oasis seems to be teasing. In one of the videos, a musician plays ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ in a bar while in the background a sign featuring Joan Miró, who was born in Barcelona, appears. Also appearing is August 26, a date that fans have linked to a possible Oasis concert in the city.
Oasis continues to play the misdirection game as if we had time to decipher hieroglyphs: other videos have left clues about Glasgow, Manchester, Munich, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome and Boston. Among the detected references are coordinates pointing to Celtic Park, allusions to the Etihad Stadium, images of Trastevere, a Rock en Seine poster and possible references to Gillette Stadium. Tomorrow, confirmation.
