On Monday, April 6, the 34-year-old rapper was wounded by gunfire while he was outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Florida.

The American rapper Offset was targeted by gunfire this Monday, April 6, near a casino in Florida. The performer of Red Room “is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,” a spokesperson confirmed to TMZ, assuring that he is doing well: “His condition is stable and he is being closely monitored.” According to the police, the incident took place Monday after 7 p.m. in a valet area outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. Two people have been taken into custody by authorities.

A development not without recalling the tragic death of his friend Takeoff, shot dead in 2022 in Houston. Gunfire had struck the rapper while he was gambling. Alongside Quavo, they formed the hip-hop group Migos, collaborating with artists such as Drake, Travis Scott and Calvin Harris. The group dissolved a year after Takeoff’s death.
