Robert Pattinson Unknowingly Boosts Las Petunias’ Sales

September 27, 2026

Robert Pattinson has driven Las Petunias to move more than 2,000 t-shirts in under 24 hours. The actor appeared wearing a shirt bearing the slogan ‘I Think I’m Porcelain’, the Madrid-based band’s debut design, during the promotion for ‘Primetime’, the new film in which he stars. The issue is that the shirt is pirated: Las Petunias never sold it.

According to the band, they have discovered that the shirt is an unofficial design being sold without their authorization. The illustration is by lolabooa, who found that an online shop, apparently run by a Chinese designer, was selling it as if it were their own design for about $80, while Las Petunias officially sell the shirt for €15.

Las Petunias do not know how one of those copies ended up in Pattinson’s hands. Interestingly, shortly after they discovered the plagiarism, the Chinese website stopped selling the shirt.

The image of the actor, who wore the shirt with Las Petunias’ logo in as many as two promotional TikToks, has gone viral, and Las Petunias have decided to monetize the matter by launching their own official version and, in the process, supporting a worthy cause. In under 24 hours they have sold more than 2,000 t-shirts, and they say that all proceeds will go to the Tenants’ Union.

It is not wise to assume that Robert Pattinson is a fan of Las Petunias, nor even that he knows exactly which shirt he is wearing, since it is not official. If he were truly a fan of the band, it would be normal for him to have purchased official merchandise through their channels. Could it have been a gift? Las Petunias have tried to contact his stylist and manager, but they have not received a response.
