Rosalía in Alma Har’el’s New Film, According to Deadline

September 9, 2026

Deadline reports that Rosalía is in the early stages of talks to join Wet, Alma Har’el’s new family drama directed by the filmmaker of Honey Boy. If it comes together, it would mark the singer’s most significant film role to date.

There is not yet a signed deal, although negotiations are moving in the right direction. Rosalía would play a major role in the movie, which also features Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, Connor Storrie, and Odessa A’zion, and filming is planned to take place in Spain in early 2027.

Little is known about the plot beyond that it will unfold on a superyacht and that the script by Har’el and Christian Stangeby would bear echoes of Succession and The Triangle of Sadness. Rosalía made her film debut with a cameo in Pedro Almodóvar’s Pain and Glory, and this year she appeared in the third season of Euphoria.

Rosalía is also in the final stretch of her dazzling LUX Tour, which will wrap up on September 16 in Miami, after kicking off the run in March in Lyon.
