Salomé? Massiel? No, it’s Anni B Sweet, Full of Grace

September 12, 2026

Anni B Sweet continues to reveal material from her forthcoming album, Alegría, which will arrive on October 16. The new single, “I Can’t Find the Grace in It,” is a blast of psychedelia inspired by the 1960s, yet with a melody that also evokes the traditional Spanish melodic song. It feels almost as if Anni were aiming to represent Spain at Eurovision fifty years on.

The production, co-produced once again with James Bagshaw of Temples, blends guitars with fuzz, mellotrons, percussion, and a host of small psychedelic details circling a notably bright and exuberant melody.

The lyrics move between surreal images and an epic take on heartbreak: “The stars today are not the cure for my pains / and the moon suffers from lovesickness,” sings Anni before imagining “the still waves” wanting “to become mountains.” It is a song about “regaining perspective after a difficult experience,” but presented from a place far more luminous than sorrowful.

The Alegría Tour begins with two already announced dates: November 19 in Barcelona, at Razzmatazz, and January 14 in Valencia, at Sala Moon. Tickets are on sale now.
