Sonorama Ribera is set to host one of its most expansive editions to date, a five-day celebration of music in Aranda de Duero. The festival will take place from August 5 to 9, and the full concert timetable is already published, with performances scheduled both by day and by night.
The 29th edition of the Aranda festival will kick off on Wednesday, August 5 at 7:00 p.m., with the opening shows on the main stage: Nat Simons, Carlangas, Bebe, León Benavente, La Cabra Mecánica… The headlining acts for the night will be Iván Ferreiro (11:20 p.m.), La Pegastina (12:20 a.m.) and Crystal Fighters (1:20 a.m.).
The programming will commence on Thursday, August 6 at the same time and will continue until 5 in the morning, featuring Veintiuno (9:30 p.m.), Rigoberta Bandini (10:25 p.m.), Guitarricadelafuente (11:35 p.m.), rusowsky (12:45 a.m.) and RVFV (1:55 a.m.), among many others. On Friday, August 7, Carlos Ares (9:00 p.m.), Love of Lesbian (10:00 p.m.), Sexy Zebras (11:30 p.m.) or Depresión Sonora (12:50 a.m.) will be in charge of wrapping up another festival day. Finally, on Saturday, August 8, the edition will bid farewell with La M.O.D.A. (9:35 p.m.), Leiva (11:00 p.m.), Xoel López (12:30 a.m.) and Ojete Calor (1:40 a.m.).
Of course, Sonorama’s daytime program will also be present this year, with artists such as Las Petunias, La Milagrosas, Coti, Éxtasis or Vangoura filling the town’s streets with music. It will run from Thursday to Saturday, starting at 12:00 p.m. Don’t miss the surprises scheduled at 3:00 p.m. each day on the iconic Plaza del Trigo.
The concerts will be complemented by alternative programming: talks from ‘Sonorama also writes itself’, special Ribera de Duero tastings and Sonorama Baby, designed for the whole family. This year you will also be able to visit La Casita de Mahou in Plaza Mayor on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
