Stevie Wonder Announces European Tour, Excluding Spain

September 8, 2026

Stevie Wonder will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the monumental ‘Songs in the Key of Life’ with a tour that will roll through Europe in the near future, spanning October and November 2026. Wonder will perform the iconic 1976 album across a series of dates that will begin in Birmingham on October 13 and conclude in Glasgow on November 11.

The news comes with a minor caveat for his Spanish fans: Wonder has not included any dates in Spain. He will, however, travel through France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, and the United Kingdom. His last European performance was on July 12, 2025 in Hyde Park, London, as part of his ‘Love, Light & Song’ tour.

In Spain, however, it has been a very long time since he was seen. His last performance in our country took place in May 1992. In other words, more than three decades have passed since Stevie Wonder’s last visit to Spain.

The occasion warranted it especially. ‘Songs in the Key of Life’, released in 1976, is regarded as one of the great albums in the history of popular music. It is the record that features songs such as ‘Sir Duke’, ‘I Wish’, ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ and ‘As’, in addition to having won the Grammy for Album of the Year. Recently, Paste Magazine positioned it at No. 1 on its list of the best albums of all time.
