The Collaboration We Never Imagined: Nine Inch Nails to Release an Album With Boys Noize

April 21, 2026

Trent Reznor and the German electronic music producer Boys Noize announced a collaborative album, “Nine Inch Noize,” slated for release on April 17. They will perform together at Coachella this weekend.

As the Coachella season arrives, the number of billboards—those large advertising panels that line American roads—multiplies as artists outdo one another with inventive displays to promote their shows at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. Sometimes, in the lead-up to their appearance at the world’s most prestigious festival, some take the opportunity to announce a release or a project: that’s exactly what happened with Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize, who will take the stage on April 11 at Coachella.

Ultimately, the rumor is confirmed by an Instagram post. The cover is red, featuring a “Nine Inch Nails” sticker and a “NOIZE” scribble added to the pen.
