After launching the TRIBE Vinyl Club, the hotel brand unveils its very first vinyl compilation in the form of a double LP crafted with the collaboration of Radio Nova. A rare item pressed in only 1,000 copies and already set to groove your summer.
We don’t go to hotels merely to sleep, but also to listen to music in shimmering lobbies. TRIBE, the hotel brand, has understood this well, hence the idea of launching the TRIBE Vinyl Club, a clever setup meant to install vinyl listening stations on high‑quality gear (the Audio-Technica AT-LP60XUSBGM turntable) in the common areas of several properties of the chain, in Paris, Lyon, Düsseldorf, and London.
A discerning selection, curated by tastemakers who, naturally, extended this lovely initiative to certain record stores in the aforementioned cities, thereby supporting local needle dealers. This is the case in Paris, with Major Tom at Ground Control, and at Lyon’s Tiki Vinyle Store.
A wonderful initiative, now pressed on vinyl, as the brand has just released NEW GROUNDS, a vinyl compilation in the form of a double LP created with Radio Nova. Limited to 1,000 copies, the object, beautiful and rare, comprises 16 tracks spread across four sides that unfold like night and day within a hotel. From funk vibes to soul, with exotic forays and the vintage patina of Pearl & The Oysters, there is something for every groove in this selection whose tracklist you will find below.
